In the 2nd match minute, SL Benfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Rui Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Lourenço Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bertelo FC's Abel Rodrigues in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SL Benfica's goalie prevented a goal. Rui Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lourenço Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lourenço Aleixo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bertelo FC's Abel Rodrigues shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Rodrigues in the 14th minute of play forced SL Benfica's goalkeeper Lourenço Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Brás didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 21st minute. SL Benfica's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Abel Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Pinho having to interfere. Rui Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lourenço Aleixo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Bertelo FC's Rui Amaral. But to his dismay, Rui Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. SL Benfica's Lourenço Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Rodrigues in the 43rd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Brás to strike the kick off in the second half. When SL Benfica's Miguel Brás in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lourenço Aleixo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Rui Amaral sent off a good shot on target. After 62 played minutes Bertelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Nunes. Rui Amaral succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 64th playminute. In the 69th minute, Artur Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Aleixo having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Bertelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Baptista. Lourenço Aleixo was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Rui Amaral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rui Amaral really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. SL Benfica's Lourenço Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Rodrigues in the 93rd minute of play. Miguel Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Pinho having to interfere. Bertelo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
