In the 20th minute of the match Hugo Freitas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timóteo Vilhena skillfully saved the ball. Nuno Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timóteo Vilhena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute of the match Joaquim Ruas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Dias skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to SC Enxameador getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Inácio Vale hit a great ball. Julião Severiano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Dias. SC Enxameador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gustavo Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Pimentel in the 36th minute of the match. Moisés Póvoas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gustavo Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Moisés Póvoas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Dias. SC Enxameador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moisés Póvoas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Armindo Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gustavo Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taipinhas. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Gustavo Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot.
