Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timóteo Vilhena having to interfere. Timóteo Vilhena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Rodrigues in the 6th minute of the match. If Jorge Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Ruas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Fernando Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timóteo Vilhena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Rodrigues in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Moisés Póvoas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taipinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moisés Póvoas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Jorge Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leitoes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Leitoes's Américo Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Póvoas in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Fernando Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Vilhena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Póvoas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taipinhas's Armindo Pimentel got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julião Severiano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Américo Fernandes. Leitoes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Rodrigues made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Jorge Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Vilhena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Taipinhas's Nuno Gouveia got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Fernando Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timóteo Vilhena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Garcia in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Taipinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Garcia came free, but Timóteo Vilhena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Leitoes got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Simões. After 73 played minutes Leitoes got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Moreira. 81 minutes into the game, Jorge Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Timóteo Vilhena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Jorge Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Timóteo Vilhena. Taipinhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Armindo Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taipinhas's Timóteo Vilhena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Rodrigues in the 95th minute of play. Jorge Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Timóteo Vilhena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leitoes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
