Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hugo Paredes made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes, Afonso Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Taipa and the SF Campus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Taipa's Afonso Nascimento got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Torcato Figueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Hugo Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When SC Taipa's Viriato Barros in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SF Campus's goalie prevented a goal. Afonso Nascimento hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The supporters of SF Campus booed when SC Taipa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Peseiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Freitas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabiano Peseiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Amado Lemos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Paredes's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Viriato Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Amado Lemos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave SC Taipa a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nuno Magalhães, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SF Campus's Amado Lemos. 0-1. Hugo Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Lemos having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, SC Taipa's Afonso Nascimento made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Lemos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The SF Campus players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Taipa were winning 0-2.

After 57 played minutes SF Campus got a freekick which was hit by Angélico Simões. If Hugo Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ronaldo Santos came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the SF Campus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Santos couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SF Campus booed when SC Taipa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Taipa's Humberto Gaspar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amado Lemos but with some difficulty. In the 82nd minute Ronaldo Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Santos in the 83rd minute of the match. Afonso Nascimento hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Paulo Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Taipa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
