Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Fontes took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, SC Termo's goal looked a bit too open when Yoppie Simamora came free, but Heitor Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Silva came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Termo's Álvaro Neto. But to his dismay, Álvaro Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Lucas Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Termo's goalkeeper Heitor Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Álvaro Neto made a precise shot to the right of Marco Silva. Guimaraes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Guimaraes's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Neto came free, but Marco Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guimaraes's Marco Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Pires in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guimaraes's Alexandre Neto got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Álvaro Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marco Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guimaraes's Marco Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Pires in the 33rd minute of play. Marco Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves João Gomes could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Heitor Maia however easily saved by the left post. 0-4 came in the 45th minute when Álvaro Neto all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Marco Silva. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Guimaraes made a substitution. Fernando Aguiar replaced Alexandre Neto. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Álvaro Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Yoppie Simamora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heitor Maia. SC Termo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yoppie Simamora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Guimaraes's Marco Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Fonseca in the 64th minute of play. João Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoppie Simamora in the 69th minute of play forced SC Termo's goalkeeper Heitor Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Valeriani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Guimaraes got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Aguiar. After 79 played minutes Guimaraes got a freekick which was hit by João Gomes. Marco Silva made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Paulo Santarém sent off a good shot on target. Guimaraes's Marco Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Guimaraes from getting a goal against them. If João Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heitor Maia came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Guimaraes's Angelo Valeriani. But to his dismay, Angelo Valeriani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Fernando Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Maia having to interfere. The Guimaraes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Termo's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Termo.
