Daniel Leão started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Climax's Emanuel Semedo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Climax's Jairo Calado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Leão in the 5th minute of play. Emanuel Semedo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Climax's zone, Gabriel Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Calado came out of the goal and Gabriel Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Climax getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rafael Abrantes hit a great ball. Gabriel Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jairo Calado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Climax booed when Tripeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Aleixo in the 29th minute of play forced Climax's goalkeeper Jairo Calado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Tripeiro FC's goalkeeper André Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Soeiro. Cristiano Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Domingues having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Tripeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Leite. A collision led to Tripeiro FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Álvaro Domingues hit a great ball. André Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Soeiro in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Climax's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Leão came free, but Jairo Calado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Cristiano Soeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Domingues was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascoal Ponte made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Leão in the 51st minute of play forced Climax's goalkeeper Jairo Calado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Calado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Aleixo in the 58th minute. Gabriel Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Calado having to interfere. If Gabriel Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jairo Calado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Pereira hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Rafael Abrantes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Climax's Jairo Calado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Climax from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd match minute, Climax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Abrantes to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes Tripeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Guarda. Sandro Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Calado having to interfere. If Cristiano Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st match minute, Tripeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Sá to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. André Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Climax could leave the field as winners, despite Tripeiro FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
