The wind increased when António Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Albardo's zone, Henrique Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Ferrão came out of the goal and Henrique Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Bessa got free with Samuel Ferrão in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Albardo's Alexandre Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Moisés Aveiro fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Albardo's protests and gave Moisés Aveiro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pelma booed when SC Albardo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Aveiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Franco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel Ferrão. SC Albardo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
