Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alfredo Fernandes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Delfim Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gervásio Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th match minute, Colos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Sousa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Colos FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. António Guerreiro hit a great ball. Carlos Melo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leal Calado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Azevedo in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervásio Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jorge Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Colos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Azevedo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Bruno Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervásio Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Fernando Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Valadares F-unit getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gualter Quental hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Leal Calado put in a rough tackle. José Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Melo having to interfere. If Delfim Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jorge Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervásio Couto was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Carlos Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half Colos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Azevedo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Delfim Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Gervásio Couto. Valadares F-unit's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 58th minute Cláudio Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jorge Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervásio Couto was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. If Jorge Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Colos FC defense, José Matias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Melo. The Colos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Melo should have stopped the shot. Gervásio Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Azevedo in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Cláudio Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valadares F-unit's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute Jorge Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervásio Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Garcia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Colos FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, José Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valadares F-unit's supporters rose to their feet, but José Matias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delfim Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervásio Couto having to interfere. Colos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
