After a defensive mix-up in Alvendre FC's zone, José Matias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Neto came out of the goal and José Matias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21stth minute of the game José Matias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvendre FC's João Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. João Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederico Macena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Fernandes in the 34th minute of play forced Alvendre FC's goalkeeper João Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frederico Macena made a kick off.
