Columbeira's José Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Matias in the 58th minute of play. José Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Fernandes in the 61st minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Lucas Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Valadares F-unit fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Gualter Quental kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Jorge Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 98th match minute, Columbeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 100th minute, Alfredo Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Valadares F-unit fans cheered their team off the field, for while Columbeira had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
