Tomás Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Hermano Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Paião in the 9th minute of play forced Soengas FC's goalkeeper Raul Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, White Angels United's Hermano Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Pinheiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bernardo Paião scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquim Queiroga might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Queiroga ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute of the match Marcos Moita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Pinheiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, White Angels United's Serafim Valadão got control of the ball when Ricardo Pinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Queiroga in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Joaquim Queiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of White Angels United booed when Soengas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Paião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Raul Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Soengas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. White Angels United were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Queiroga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Soengas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Joaquim Queiroga scored to the left of an out of position Raul Pinheiro, making the score, 0-3. Raul Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Queiroga in the 58th minute of play. Raul Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Queiroga in the 60th minute of the match. Joaquim Queiroga struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Raul Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Angels United. 72 minutes into the match, Soengas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Queiroga came free, but Raul Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tiago Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored White Angels United's protests and gave Tiago Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquim Queiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Pinheiro having to interfere. Raul Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Bernardo Paião sent off a good shot on target. Raul Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Queiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Soengas FC's zone, Bernardo Paião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Pinheiro came out of the goal and Bernardo Paião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Queiroga in the 93rd minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Pinheiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
