António Bessa started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Ricardo Macena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Macena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarcísio Calheiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, António Bessa made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Vieira. True Dragons FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in True Dragons FC's zone, Afonso Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Vieira came out of the goal and Afonso Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Azevedo in the 27th minute of the match. Carlos Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, True Dragons FC's Pedro Pedroso got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Lobagueira FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gil Leiria in the 49th minute. The corner led Lobagueira FC's Gil Leiria to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Vieira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

54 minutes into the game, António Bessa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Vieira. António Bessa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When Afonso Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Lobagueira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Azevedo couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Hélder Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Bessa in the 68th minute of play. Hélder Paiva struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Carlos Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobagueira FC. António Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octávio Matos hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by True Dragons FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gil Leiria was slow to take the kick. During this time Lobagueira FC's players had a chance to rest. Gil Leiria made a great header on Lobagueira FC's corner, it was just that True Dragons FC's Carlos Vieira managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 96th minute António Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Lobagueira FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than True Dragons FC.
