In the 17th minute Cláudio Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Resende charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Resende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fábio Anjos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Faro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Basílio Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botashak3's Tomás Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Catarino Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Botashak3 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catarino Amaral couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fábio Anjos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Anjos in the 56th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Botashak3 got a freekick which was hit by Simão Sousa. Fábio Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Faro having to interfere.
