Silvestre Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascoal Vasconcelos in the 12th minute of play forced SC Cacarelhos's goalkeeper Octávio Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Devils Sons's goalkeeper Veríssimo Godinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jordão Vilaça. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascoal Vasconcelos in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octávio Pereira saved SC Cacarelhos from getting behind. Serafim Zarco struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Octávio Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Devils Sons. In the 82nd minute Leal Vigário shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octávio Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
