Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Duarte Simões kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, The Wannabes's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Abreu came free, but Ronaldo Espírito Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, João Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Nuno Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldo Espírito Santo. The Wannabes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in The Wannabes's zone, Gil Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Espírito Santo came out of the goal and Gil Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldo Espírito Santo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Raimundo Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Alberto Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Wannabes. In the 27th minute, The Wannabes's Antero Padilha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Delgado. Alberto Delgado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 34th minute João Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Espírito Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antero Padilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Durval Severiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Marmelete's Duarte Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Espírito Santo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, The Wannabes's Claudemiro Valverde got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Duarte Simões put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ronaldo Espírito Santo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, João Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marmelete's supporters rose to their feet, but João Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo Espírito Santo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antero Padilha took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Delgado. Alberto Delgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After having played for 62 minutes, Antero Padilha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Wannabes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antero Padilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marmelete's Alberto Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Alcântara in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Antero Padilha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Antero Padilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antero Padilha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Delgado having to interfere. Antero Padilha struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Alberto Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Wannabes. 82 minutes into the match, Marmelete's goal looked a bit too open when Antero Padilha came free, but Alberto Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antero Padilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to The Wannabes getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Sabino Ramires hit a great ball. Duarte Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ronaldo Espírito Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldo Espírito Santo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when João Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. The Marmelete players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented The Wannabes from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
