The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasco Viegas to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barcelos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nuno Pinho was slow to take the kick. During this time Alpriate's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Alpriate's corner Nuno Pinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ilídio Valverde quite easily take care of the ball. Vasco Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Alpriate's goalkeeper Filipe Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Viveiros. Filipe Brito was a little too slow when Rúben Caiado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-5. Barcelos FC's Ilídio Valverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Viegas in the 76th minute of play. Domingos Viveiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Filipe Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barcelos FC's Rúben Caiado was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Filipe Brito made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Domingos Viveiros sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Barcelos FC booed when Alpriate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alpriate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Rúben Caiado scored to the left of an out of position Filipe Brito, making the score, 0-8. 97 minutes into the match, Barcelos FC's Domingos Viveiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Barcelos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alpriate.
