After a rather tough play, DRANGON a.v's Nicolau Vides got a free kick in the 6th minute. Fabrício Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Valente in the 13th minute of play. Silvério Dantas hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. António Bessa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the SC Barrosinha defense, Silvério Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Pires. The SC Barrosinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Pires should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute Xavier Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrício Pacheco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Valente in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliveira Coelho got free with Fabrício Pacheco in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabrício Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvério Dantas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SC Barrosinha's Afonso Pires got control of the ball when Gervásio Moita tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Valente in the 63rd minute of play forced DRANGON a.v's goalkeeper Fabrício Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Gervásio Moita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Barrosinha's Afonso Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Xavier Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliveira Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Pacheco having to interfere. Xavier Valente struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Fabrício Pacheco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Barrosinha.
