But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Fonseca couldn't finish the play. If Eudoxio Alborja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Inglorious Bastards's Eudoxio Alborja dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Manuel Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Faro in the 72nd minute of the match. Eudoxio Alborja received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Aleixo came out and tried to block the shot, but Eudoxio Alborja slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Inglorious Bastards's Lúcio Fonseca got a free kick in the 81st minute. Manuel Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Inglorious Bastards's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
