Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Grajal FC's Basílio Raposo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mateus Lustosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes Grajal FC got a freekick which was hit by António Sardinha. Humberto Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. The tension between the Grajal FC and the Murganhal players grew even worse after the yellow card. António Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateus Lustosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Afonso Leite sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Grajal FC's Mateus Lustosa didn't even have to move. Mateus Lustosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Leite in the 29th minute of play. Basílio Raposo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If José Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Leite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Grajal FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Leite came free, but Mateus Lustosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Joaquim Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Sardinha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cândido Faria. Murganhal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Gervásio Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Basílio Raposo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If António Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Macedo got free with Mateus Lustosa in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Murganhal booed when Grajal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Godinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Macedo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Mateus Lustosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murganhal. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Humberto Macedo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mateus Lustosa. In the 79thth minute of the game Gervásio Campos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Murganhal's Cândido Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Lustosa having to interfere. Manuel Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Garcia hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Murganhal's zone, Horácio Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cândido Faria came out of the goal and Horácio Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervásio Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Faria having to interfere. Basílio Raposo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cândido Faria having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Murganhal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
