Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Humberto Borba kicked off to start the match. After 2 minutes, André Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bordeiro and the SC Figueiredo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Afonso Morais hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Manuel Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. André Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, SC Figueiredo's Manuel Martins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Américo Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Bordeiro's Fernando Trindade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eusébio Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Bordeiro's Humberto Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Figueiredo's Vítor Amaro got a free kick in the 25th minute. Bordeiro were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after SC Figueiredo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Trindade took the corner. In the 39th match minute, SC Figueiredo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Anjos to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Trindade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rui Alves. SC Figueiredo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Américo Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júlio Leiria to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Humberto Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Júlio Leiria made a precise shot to the right of Rui Alves. SC Figueiredo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Filipe Machado's late challenge caught a SC Figueiredo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Machado helped the player get up and apologised. Filipe Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, SC Figueiredo's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Leiria came free, but Rui Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Figueiredo's Américo Faria has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Bordeiro's goalkeeper André Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Martins. After a defensive mix-up in SC Figueiredo's zone, Júlio Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Alves came out of the goal and Júlio Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Humberto Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Figueiredo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Borba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júlio Leiria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Humberto Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Pedroso in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Alves saved SC Figueiredo from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Bordeiro's goalkeeper André Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Martins. Manuel Martins took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Costa. André Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 91stth minute of the game Humberto Borba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bordeiro's André Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SC Figueiredo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Américo Faria hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Leiria in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bordeiro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Figueiredo for a fine match.
