Paulino Vieira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Nuno Esparteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Xavier Carvalho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. SC Prados's Filipe Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Vieira in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Xavier Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Palmeira was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Luís Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Carvalho in the 22nd minute of play. Paulino Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SC Prados's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulino Vieira 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Nuno Esparteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Faro having to interfere. After some careless play in the ProkoTeam defense, Alberto Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Palmeira. The ProkoTeam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Palmeira should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute Alberto Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Paulino Vieira made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Prados's Xavier Carvalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Palmeira. That made the score 1-3 after 54 minutes of play. Cláudio Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cláudio Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Alberto Lopess short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Luís Palmeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Xavier Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alberto Lopes sent off a good shot on target. When Alberto Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the SC Prados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Lopes couldn't finish the play.
