Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hugo Trindade got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Trindade got free with Joel Sardinha in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltasar Macieira charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Macieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cela's Alexandre Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Candeias in the 13th minute of play. With his leg Joel Sardinha managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Cela's Domingos Moniz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hugo Trindade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Sardinha having to make a save. Alexandre Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Candeias, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, António Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cela's Alexandre Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Candeias in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Cela's Domingos Moniz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Sardinha was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Trindade in the 31st minute of play forced SC Malhadouro's goalkeeper Joel Sardinha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Norberto Candeias made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Amorim. Cela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Lázaro Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Valério Manso made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Malhadouro booed when Cela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valério Manso in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. António Fontes hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Alexandre Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Manso in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, SC Malhadouro's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Trindade came free, but Joel Sardinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Moniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Sardinha having to make a save. 78 minutes into the match, SC Malhadouro's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Trindade came free, but Joel Sardinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joel Sardinha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Malhadouro's zone, Domingos Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Sardinha came out of the goal and Domingos Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Sardinha having to interfere. Cela were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SC Malhadouro to leave the ground with a draw.
