Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eusébio Lemos made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Artur Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peliteiros FC the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Selim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Santos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Peliteiros FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cândido Pires hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusébio Lemos during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Peliteiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Lemos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Paulo Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Durval Igrejas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Paulo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Igrejas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Igrejas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Cabral in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Jorge Brás made a precise shot to the right of Durval Igrejas. Peliteiros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Selim FC's Paulo Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Durval Igrejas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Jorge Brás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Selim FC got a freekick which was hit by Artur Santos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Cabral in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval Igrejas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eusébio Lemos scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusébio Lemos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Joaquim Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Frois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Santos having to interfere. Eusébio Lemos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Norberto Frois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Duarte Amorim's late challenge caught a Peliteiros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Selim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Frois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Santos having to interfere. Norberto Frois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Joaquim Santos made a huge save. If Paulo Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes of play, Selim FC's Jorge Brás made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval Igrejas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Eusébio Lemos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquim Santos. That made the score 3-2 in the 89 minute of play. José Baía struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Joaquim Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peliteiros FC. The Selim FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
