Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Óscar Neves got the match started through his kick off. Matias Neto made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when André Morais sent off a good shot on target. After 6 minutes, Fernando Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sebolido and the SC Pouve players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Sebolido got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Sá. 15 minutes into the match, Palmiro Saldanha notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sebolido's Rui Carneiro. Rui Carneiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Sebolido getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fernando Sá hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Palmiro Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pouve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palmiro Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmiro Saldanha in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Sebolido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Lima to maneuver through the defense. Matias Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Neves in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Martinho Abrantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Neto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Palmiro Saldanha to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Óscar Neves made a precise shot to the right of Matias Neto. SC Pouve's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Palmiro Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rui Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, SC Pouve's Palmiro Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Carneiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palmiro Saldanha hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Matias Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Filipe Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Palmiro Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, José Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pouve's supporters rose to their feet, but José Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui Carneiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Palmiro Saldanha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 78 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Óscar Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Neto was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Sebolido's Rui Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palmiro Saldanha in the 91st minute of play. After 96 played minutes SC Pouve got a freekick which was hit by Gentil Raposo. In the 97th minute, André Morais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
