Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abel Neves got the match started through his kick off. The Abrigada FC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Abrigada FC's Jacinto Paredes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacinto Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Cunha having to interfere. Abrigada FC's Domingos Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Abrigada FC from getting a goal against them. Jacinto Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Abrigada FC's Jacinto Paredes in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Contenda's goalie prevented a goal. If Jacinto Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Abrigada FC's Jacinto Paredes in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Contenda's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredo Cunha went to the wrong direction when Nuno Viegas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Abrigada FC's Jacinto Paredes in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Contenda's goalie prevented a goal. Contenda's Alfredo Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Guerreiro in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Abrigada FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacinto Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Correia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Dantas having to make a save. If Abel Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Contenda's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Paredes came free, but Alfredo Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Schütz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Contenda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Abrigada FC:s goal. In the 66th minute, the referee gave Abrigada FC a penalty. Nuno Viegas looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Alfredo Cunha. 76 minutes into the match, Contenda's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Paredes came free, but Alfredo Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Correia's late challenge caught a Abrigada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Correia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, José Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Paredes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Alfredo Cunha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfredo Cunha made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jacinto Paredes sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Abrigada FC booed when Contenda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Contenda's Alfredo Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Contenda from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Abrigada FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Contenda throughout the match.
