Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cláudio Branco took the kick off in the first half of the match. António Faro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jorge Leite. The supporters of Oporto booed when Paicao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Branco in the 6th minute of the match. When Cristóvão Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Oporto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Macedo couldn't finish the play. Gonçalo Guerreiro struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. António Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oporto.
