Cristóvão Resende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Gaspar's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. If Tobias Sales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sandro Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Florencas's protests and gave Sandro Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Sandro Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, SC Aguiar's goal looked a bit too open when David Leal came free, but Cristóvão Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Normando Parente struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Mário Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Aguiar. Mário Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Sales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute David Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
