Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Silvano Coimbra got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Máximo Barcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Israel Gouveia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. António Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Coimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Coimbra in the 12th minute of play forced SC Igarei's goalkeeper António Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. António Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Igarei's António Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SC Igarei from getting a goal against them. António Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Alves having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Igarei defense, Silvano Coimbra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of António Alves. The SC Igarei fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that António Alves should have stopped the shot. If Silvano Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Coimbra in the 39th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Joel Lencastre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of António Alves. SC Igarei's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Lencastre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
António Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcides Flores in the 54th minute of the match. Joel Lencastre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Alves having to interfere. SC Igarei's António Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Coimbra in the 67th minute of play. Joel Lencastre scored 5-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of António Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Altino Malafaia's late challenge caught a SC Igarei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Altino Malafaia helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Carrazedelo got a freekick which was hit by Altino Malafaia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Coimbra in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Silvano Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Lencastre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. António Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carrazedelo's Silvano Coimbra got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6-1 became the score in the 86th minute when Silvano Coimbra elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Armindo Ponte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alcides Flores in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Alves saved SC Igarei from getting behind.
