The Bernardo Portugal was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alfredo Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bernardo Portugal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Gil Modesto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salesianos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bonitos the free kick.
