When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Rui Santos put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aloísio Lamego. When Hermínio Carmo fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinglino 69 F.C.'s protests and gave Hermínio Carmo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pinglino 69 F.C.'s Hermínio Carmo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rui Santos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Aloísio Lamego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Vítor Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermínio Carmo took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Garcia. Daniel Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Vítor Antas kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Rui Santos in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aloísio Lamego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rafael Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Chagas made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Hermínio Carmo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Garcia. That made the score 2-2 in the 53 minute of play. In the 59th minute, one of Pinglino 69 F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pinglino 69 F.C.. The excitement rose when GUARDA FC's Cristiano Amorim after 61 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Pinglino 69 F.C.'s goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-2. 67 minutes into the game, Vítor Lisboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GUARDA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinglino 69 F.C. the free kick. Hermínio Carmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Daniel Garcia made a huge save. Rui Santos struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Aloísio Lamego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GUARDA FC. Vítor Lisboa scored 4-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aloísio Lamego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rui Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vítor Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aloísio Lamego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Vítor Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Lamego having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, GUARDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Hermínio Carmo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that GUARDA FC were the better team. GUARDA FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
