Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) CANN STURDUST's Pascoal Campos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 18 played minutes CANN STURDUST got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Luz. After a defensive mix-up in CANN STURDUST's zone, Afonso Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viriato Vasques came out of the goal and Afonso Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hermínio Calçada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Pascoal Campos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afonso Leal. That made the score 2-1 in the 31 minute of play. Afonso Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Vasques having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Luís Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Leal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermínio Calçada went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Borba charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Borba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Borba hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Pascoal Campos struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Afonso Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CANN STURDUST. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luís Magalhães made the kick off in the second half. The referee gave CANN STURDUST a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alcino Mourinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marrazes FC's Afonso Leal. 4-1. After a rather tough play, Marrazes FC's Mariano Gueifão got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Hermínio Calçada managed to get in a good position for a shot. CANN STURDUST's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermínio Calçada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Calçada in the 61st minute of play forced Marrazes FC's goalkeeper Afonso Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascoal Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Leal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CANN STURDUST's Adelino Zambujal got a free kick in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Magalhães in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viriato Vasques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonso Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Calçada in the 70th minute of the match. Pascoal Campos might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Leal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascoal Campos ran back to his position shaking his head. Viriato Vasques came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Marrazes FC's Luís Magalhães. But to his dismay, Luís Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Pascoal Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Afonso Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CANN STURDUST's Albérico Quirino got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th match minute, CANN STURDUST was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Zambujal to maneuver through the defense. Pascoal Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Marrazes FC's Daniel Borba got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 99th minute Pascoal Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
