Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teófilo Modesto started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Raul Ferro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Teixoso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave flores futebol clube the free kick. After 8 played minutes SC Teixoso got a freekick which was hit by Raul Ferro. Estevão Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Gueifão in the 12th minute of the match. Rodrigo Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevão Coelho having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, SC Teixoso's goal looked a bit too open when Aldaír Amaral came free, but Heitor Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind flores futebol clube's goalkeeper Estevão Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, flores futebol clube's Teófilo Modesto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heitor Borba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Heitor Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldaír Amaral in the 30th minute of the match. Aldaír Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Heitor Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teófilo Modesto in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heitor Borba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute Cândido Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estevão Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, SC Teixoso's goal looked a bit too open when Teófilo Modesto came free, but Heitor Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heitor Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teófilo Modesto in the 41st minute of the match. Aldaír Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cândido Gueifão to make the kick off. Cândido Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Estevão Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Teófilo Modesto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of SC Teixoso booed when flores futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Teixoso's Raul Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevão Coelho having to interfere. When Teófilo Modesto came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the flores futebol clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teófilo Modesto couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the SC Teixoso defense, Aldaír Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Heitor Borba. The SC Teixoso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Heitor Borba should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Ferro during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Isac Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, SC Teixoso's Cândido Gueifão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Estevão Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, flores futebol clube's Renato Zarco got a free kick in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in flores futebol clube's zone, Afonso Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estevão Coelho came out of the goal and Afonso Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cândido Gueifão might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Estevão Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cândido Gueifão ran back to his position shaking his head. Estevão Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cândido Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Teixoso's supporters rose to their feet, but Cândido Gueifão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Estevão Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The flores futebol clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing flores futebol clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
