Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Farrobo FC's Alexandre Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Castro in the 7th minute of play forced Desportivo de Ronfe's goalkeeper Artur Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Farrobo FC's Abel Luz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Alfredo Martins fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farrobo FC's protests and gave Alfredo Martins a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Farrobo FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Martins. Tomé Palhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Carvalho having to interfere. Manuel Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Tomé Palhares sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Artur Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Abel Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Desportivo de Ronfe's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Luz came free, but Artur Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Brito having to interfere. If Abel Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desportivo de Ronfe's Artur Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Luz in the 41st minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdemar Pereira to strike the kick off in the second half. Artur Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Luz in the 54th minute. Desportivo de Ronfe's Artur Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Desportivo de Ronfe from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Luz got free with Artur Brito in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Abel Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Desportivo de Ronfe's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Castro came free, but Artur Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Leonel Horta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abel Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Horta's late challenge caught a Farrobo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Horta helped the player get up and apologised. Farrobo FC's Viriato Nascimento couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Desportivo de Ronfe. During the 81st minute of the match Leonel Horta completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leonel Horta a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Leonel Horta hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Abel Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Abel Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abel Luz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Artur Brito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 97 minutes into the match, Desportivo de Ronfe's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Artur Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
