Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvério Roriz kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Salvador Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 8 minutes, Salvador Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vimeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dário Granja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Granja, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Silvério Roriz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dimas Caetano came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvério Roriz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Lázaro Gago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimas Caetano skillfully saved the ball. Isidro Lucena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquim Cabral. Regatos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joaquim Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvério Roriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dimas Caetano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Vimeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Vilar to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Lustosa, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dimas Caetano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Roriz in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vimeira's zone, Silvério Roriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimas Caetano came out of the goal and Silvério Roriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Domingos Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Regatos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Pedroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimas Caetano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Magalhães in the 47th minute of play. Regatos FC's Jordão Leal got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Jordão Leal off the ground. The supporters of Vimeira booed when Regatos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordão Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Magalhães made a kick off. Dário Granja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Joaquim Cabral made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Regatos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Magalhães came free, but Joaquim Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Joaquim Cabral made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Salvador Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. Vimeira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regatos FC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Vimeira's zone, Basílio Vilalobos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimas Caetano came out of the goal and Basílio Vilalobos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dário Granja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Cabral having to interfere.
