Pocilgais FC's Paulo Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pocilgais FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when António Santos scored to the left of an out of position Diogo Dantas, making the score, 3-0. Joaquim Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Diogo Dantas made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Nuno Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diogo Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Santos in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Dantas in the 34th minute of play forced Provesende's goalkeeper Álvaro Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Carvalho to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, António Santos made a precise shot to the right of Diogo Dantas. Pocilgais FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Diogo Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Anjos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pocilgais FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Afonso Correia hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes, Provesende's Emanuel Lima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diogo Dantas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Provesende reached it. Henrique Torres made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pocilgais FC's Adolfo Borba. After 68 minutes of play, Provesende's Joaquim Pires made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Provesende's Álvaro Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Matias in the 72nd minute of play. Paulo Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Álvaro Vieira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedro Moreira. In the 94th minute Joaquim Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Carvalho in the 96th minute of play.
