Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Miradouro FC's Delfim Magalhães started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futebol Clube do Green's goalkeeper Eduardo Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fernando Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute Sandro Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Zarco during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the last second Sebastião Dantas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sandro Alves in the 15thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Sandro Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sandro Alves did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Sebastião Dantas 20 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Filipe Serpa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miradouro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futebol Clube do Green the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Miradouro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Serpa to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, José Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Sandro Alves got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 47th minute Sandro Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandro Alves to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Josué Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Miradouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Alves came free, but Sebastião Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Miradouro FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Josué Amorim hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Futebol Clube do Green's Sebastião Carneiro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Sandro Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miradouro FC's Sebastião Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastião Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Alves in the 59th minute of play. Futebol Clube do Green's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Miradouro FC defense, Fernando Ferreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Dantas. The Miradouro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Dantas should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Marco Montenegro in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Futebol Clube do Green's Sebastião Carneiro. With a little luck, Futebol Clube do Green's Eduardo Rocha got control of the ball when Delfim Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. Futebol Clube do Green's Eduardo Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Futebol Clube do Green from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube do Green's goalkeeper Eduardo Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Tomé.
