Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eusébio Pinto started the match with the kick off. Amadeu Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Pires in the 7th minute of play. Medronhal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Eusébio Pinto scored to the left of an out of position Luís Garcia, making the score, 1-0. Vítor Pires scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeu Setúbal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Sandro Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Eusébio Pinto made a precise shot to the right of Luís Garcia. Medronhal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Sandro Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Garcia having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Medronhal FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after David Borba fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sandro Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vítor Pires to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Eusébio Pinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Garcia. Medronhal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusébio Pinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. David Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vítor Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If David Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Pinto in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Vítor Pires took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Amadeu Setúbal to make any attempt to save it. Luís Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Pinto's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Amadeu Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Medronhal FC booed when SC Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Anjos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Vítor Pires recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeu Setúbal. Vítor Pires showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
