Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vítor Pires started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Vítor Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélder Calçada during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sandro Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Branco having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Hélder Calçada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jorge Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, SC Cochadas's Lisandro Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Cochadas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Catarino Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Medronhal FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Vítor Pinheiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adolfo Branco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luís Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 32nd match minute, SC Cochadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aparício Ávila to maneuver through the defense. Medronhal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Catarino Azevedo in the 35th minute. Catarino Azevedo made a great header on Medronhal FC's corner, it was just that SC Cochadas's Adolfo Branco managed to reach the ball for a save. Vítor Pires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Branco having to make a save. Sandro Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro Aguiar to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes SC Cochadas got a freekick which was hit by Sálvio Barbosa. If Sandro Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Pires in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lisandro Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Medronhal FC's Luís Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Medronhal FC from getting a goal against them. Lisandro Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, SC Cochadas's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Pires came free, but Adolfo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Emílio Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Cochadas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Medronhal FC.
