Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cristóvão Serpa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, SC Estela's goal looked a bit too open when Hermano Alcântara came free, but Daniel Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 minutes SC Estela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diego Vilaverde who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SC Esteves's corner Diego Vilaverde fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Tavares quite easily take care of the ball. After 9 minutes, Eduardo Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Estela and the SC Esteves players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Estela's Eduardo Soares got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, SC Estela's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Serpa came free, but Daniel Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes SC Estela got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Jesus. Hermano Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Daniel Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SC Esteves booed when SC Estela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Catarino Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Esteves's Diego Vilaverde tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Estela's goalkeeper Daniel Tavares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, SC Esteves's goalkeeper Augusto Vaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Gomes. A collision led to SC Estela getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Catarino Jesus hit a great ball. Diego Vilaverde's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Daniel Tavares on his right side and into the goal. 45 minutes into the game it was 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Amorim was the one to do the kick off. Raul Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermano Alcântara's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daniel Tavares firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to SC Esteves getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zarco Raminhos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Esteves's zone, Raul Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Vaz came out of the goal and Raul Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermano Alcântaras short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Daniel Tavares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Serpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cristóvão Serpa came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SC Esteves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Serpa couldn't finish the play. Filipe Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Amorim in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Raul Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
