After 6 minutes of play, Chamico FC's Gustavo Maia made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Guarda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Augusto Brito hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Adaval FC's goalkeeper Ivan Guarda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Chamico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Brito to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Chamico FC's André Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Guarda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Chamico FC's Gustavo Maia in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Adaval FC's goalie prevented a goal. Adaval FC's Ivan Guarda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Maia in the 35th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Chamico FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Brito. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

If Jorge Gameiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Adaval FC's Rodrigo Pires threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Severiano Azeredo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If André Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Guarda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Maia in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Adaval FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Amorim came free, but Ivan Guarda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Adélio Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adaval FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chamico FC the free kick. In the 77th minute, Adélio Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Gameiros short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Rodrigo Pires to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 86 played minutes Severiano Azeredo rounded Chamico FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1.
