Abel Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Domingues in the 38th minute of play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heitor Ferro made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Drizes's Cláudio Borba got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Heitor Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Afonso Moutinho could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Abel Lopes however easily saved by the left post. Afonso Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Lopes having to interfere. Paulo Aleixo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastião Bessa. Sebastião Bessa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Paulo Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Sebastião Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Afonso Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Lopes having to interfere. A collision led to Drizes getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Xavier Oliveira hit a great ball. Heitor Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sebastião Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Drizes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Ribalonga.
