In the 4th minute Maurício Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Queiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Brochado's late challenge caught a J-14's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Telmo Brochado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Telmo Brochado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Telmo Brochado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Máximo Amaro, passed just outside the right post. If Pedro Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, Rui Lameiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Telmo Brochado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SC Pirraca booed when J-14 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Tristão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telmo Brochado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Máximo Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Telmo Brochado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Catarino Quinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Amaro having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Telmo Brochado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to J-14 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Frederico Cerqueira hit a great ball. Adriano Queiroga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Peralta, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th match minute, J-14 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliano Manso to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurício Peralta to strike the kick off in the second half. Adriano Queiroga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Tavares in the 56th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of SC Pirraca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of J-14:s goal. Filipe Lessa walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Maurício Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telmo Brochado struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Máximo Amaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pirraca. Adriano Queiroga made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Pedro Tavares sent off a good shot on target. In the 77thth minute of the game Maurício Peralta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pirraca's Adriano Queiroga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Telmo Brochado in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Máximo Amaro saved J-14 from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Maurício Peralta managed to get in a good position for a shot. J-14's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurício Peralta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Queiroga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Máximo Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Brochado, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Maurício Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 100 minutes into the match, Pedro Tavares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adriano Queiroga. SC Pirraca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Tavares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. J-14 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
