A very good chance. Wilson Teves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Matos in the 39th minute of play. Júlio Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jordão Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The Ameixial players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Chaveirinha were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Valente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nuno Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Vilas Boas in the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nuno Balsemão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Amaral was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Ameixial's Wilson Teves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ameixial from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ameixial booed when SC Chaveirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gaspar Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Matos scored 0-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Teves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duarte Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Cristiano Vilas Boas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, SC Chaveirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Vilas Boas came free, but Nuno Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ameixial fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Chaveirinha were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
