Lagoinhas FC's Dário Baldaia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Neto in the 20th minute of play. Dário Baldaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Gaspar in the 21st minute of play. Heitor Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dário Baldaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Lagoinhas FC's Filipe Mourato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Bruno Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Bruno Gaspar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lagoinhas FC's Dário Baldaia. Dário Baldaia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Macieiros's Sérgio Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Macieiros from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd match minute, SC Macieiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paredes to maneuver through the defense.

First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Tomás Sardinha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Filipe Mourato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagoinhas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Mourato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Filipe Mourato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-3 became the score in the 95th minute when Tomás Sardinha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match was over SC Macieiros could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lagoinhas FC throughout the match.
