Baceiros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagoinhas FC the free kick. A collision led to Baceiros FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Hermínio Madureira hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Damião Marques sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Baceiros FC's Olavo Silva didn't even have to move. Olavo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Sardinha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Lagoinhas FC's Tomás Sardinha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olavo Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Delfim Novais kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Filipe Mourato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tomás Sardinha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Filipe Mourato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Silva. Baceiros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Mourato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bento Guterres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomás Sardinha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Olavo Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dário Baldaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Guterres in the 61st minute of the match. Olavo Silva made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Filipe Mourato sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Baceiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Sardinha came free, but Olavo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Baceiros FC's zone, Julião Esparteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo Silva came out of the goal and Julião Esparteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Baceiros FC's Bento Guterres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dário Baldaia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Octávio Palhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baceiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Octávio Palhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dário Baldaia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bento Guterres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Dário Baldaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Baceiros FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lagoinhas FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Lagoinhas FC.
