Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, SC Gondesende's Alberto Sousa got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute of the match Armindo Pacheco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Aleixo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Basílio Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Moura in the 7th minute of play. Gustavo Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Gustavo Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Fuloes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquim Maia took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basílio Aleixo. Basílio Aleixo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Joaquim Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute, Alexandre Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alexandre Santarém fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Gondesende's protests and gave Alexandre Santarém a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute of the match Armindo Pacheco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Aleixo skillfully saved the ball. Basílio Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Joaquim Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Basílio Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Gondesende getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Joaquim Pacheco hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, SC Gondesende's Paulo Amorim got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the SC Gondesende defense, Gustavo Moura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basílio Aleixo. The SC Gondesende fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basílio Aleixo should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gondesende's zone, Gustavo Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Aleixo came out of the goal and Gustavo Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the game, Gustavo Moura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Basílio Aleixo. Gustavo Moura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Gustavo Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basílio Aleixo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Basílio Aleixo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Maia in the 83rd minute. The supporters of SC Fuloes booed when SC Gondesende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded SC Fuloes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Gondesende.
