Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gustavo Moura kicked off to start the match. The supporters of SC Fuloes booed when Soalhais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Faria in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Joaquim Maia made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Sá. Soalhais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Raul Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Fernando Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes SC Fuloes got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Cruz. 17 minutes into the match, SC Fuloes's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Matos came free, but Jorge Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Viana came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Soalhais's Emílio Matos. But to his dismay, Emílio Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Soalhais's Fernando Sá got control of the ball when Júlio Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Fuloes's Jorge Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Faria in the 27th minute of play. Raul Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Sandro Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A hard shot 43 in the game by Joaquim Maia from a close distance when the talented Fernando Sá managed to make a qualified save. Soalhais's players were relieved. Augusto Cardoso's late challenge caught a Soalhais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Fuloes's Augusto Cardoso got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Faria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Sá having to interfere. Emílio Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Viana having to interfere. Jorge Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Faria's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The supporters of Soalhais booed when SC Fuloes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Soalhais's Sandro Faria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Viana. That made the score 1-2 after 62 minutes of play. Emílio Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jorge Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Maia in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Sá saved Soalhais from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Emílio Matos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a rather tough play, Soalhais's Pedro Fontes got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Moura in the 78th minute of play forced Soalhais's goalkeeper Fernando Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Soalhais got a corner. SC Fuloes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Melo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fernando Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Moura in the 94th minute of play.
