After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Júlio Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Xertelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Campos in the 42nd minute of play. Eusébio Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Campos in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Lúcio Henriques hit a great ball. In the 96th play minute Inácio Campos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eusébio Amaro. 1-4. SC Xertelo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
