Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jorge Fernandes kicked off to start the match. When Vítor Jesus came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Luz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Jesus couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Jorge Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesário Nogueira was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in SC Airo's zone, Basílio Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesário Nogueira came out of the goal and Basílio Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 played minutes SC Airo got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Bragança. Luz FC's Jorge Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Luz FC booed when SC Airo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubim Taveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Gonçalo Brás sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Airo's Cesário Nogueira didn't even have to move. António Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Brito having to interfere. Basílio Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cesário Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Guerreiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Cesário Nogueira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, SC Airo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Cavaco to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Afonso Bragança hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesário Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio Guerreiro in the 33rd minute. Joaquim Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Seabra, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Cesário Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Fernandes in the 38th minute of play. Basílio Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cesário Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Afonso Bragança hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Basílio Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesário Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Basílio Guerreiro sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesário Nogueira having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when António Palma made the kick off in the second half. Cesário Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Fernandes in the 52nd minute of play. Jorge Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cesário Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Lobo during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 58 minutes into the game, one of SC Airo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Luz FC a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gonçalo Brás, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Airo's Cesário Nogueira. 1-0. Joaquim Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Palma in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Fernando Nunes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesário Nogueira skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Palma in the 76th minute of play forced Luz FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Basílio Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Airo's Afonso Bragança got a free kick in the 79th minute. Horácio Seabra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play.
