Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lourenço Fonseca in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josué Telinhos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes SC Sambrana got a freekick which was hit by Armando Godinho. A collision led to SC Sambrana getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Armando Godinho hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Lourenço Fonseca reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Josué Telinhos. The goal made the score 2-0. Alexandre Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervásio Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lourenço Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Josué Telinhos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Ribeiro in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Fonseca in the 60th minute of play forced SC Sambrana's goalkeeper Josué Telinhos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Ovoa's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gervásio Pedroso 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1.
